Remembering Robin Henry
The Sedgwick family suffered an untimely loss with the Aug. 13 passing of Ontario, California, colleague Robin Henry at the age of 59 from surgery-related complications.
Henry served as a workers’ compensation claims examiner on the County of Los Angeles account. She joined Sedgwick in December 2013, and her career in the industry spanned more than 30 years. Though she spent most of her adult life in southern California, she was raised in North Wildwood, New Jersey, and was an avid supporter of the NFL’s Green Bay Packers.
At the Ontario office, Henry was a valued member of the Spirit Committee, where she worked to promote ideas that would enhance colleague morale. She particularly enjoyed decorating the office each year before Christmas. Henry was known for making colleagues and clients feel welcome in the office. An early bird by nature, she happily brewed coffee in the break room for others each morning. Henry consistently demonstrated willingness to help her fellow colleagues learn new claim tasks, such as file housekeeping, commutations and file balancing.
She is survived by her son Paul and three grandchildren. Henry’s greatest joy was going to visit them in Orange County each weekend. Our thoughts are with them at this difficult time.
