Online Registration closes tomorrow, so that means
I am sure all, or most of you know (maybe some of you don't) I am a Breast Cancer Survivor. I was diagnosed in August 2006 when I was 28 with Stage 3B Triple Negative Invasive Breast Cancer that had spread to my lymphnodes.
I went through chemo, radiation, surgery and some more chemo. 10 years later and I still need one surgery (which I am having in December) but most importantly, I have been in remission for the past few years! Doesn't seem like it has been 10 years since I heard "you have cancer". Crazy how time flies!
For me, participating in the Race for the Cure is a fun event that brings everyone together for a great cause. Of course, I have to represent for all the Survivors and Warriors out there; my Aunt Judy, Gail, Jeri M, Renee, Rhonda F and me!
I would really like YOU to join my team, and come walk/run with us!
What am I doing?
I'm walking to support the Inland Empire Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure because I want to make a difference in the fight against breast cancer. Please help me reach my fundraising goal by making a tax-deductible donation today.
You may donate online with your credit card by clicking the "Donate" button at the top of this page. Your support helps us get another step closer to a world without breast cancer.
What does Komen do?
For more than 25 years, Komen for the Cure has played a critical role in every major advance in the fight against breast cancer ? transforming how the world talks about and treats this disease, and helping to turn millions of breast cancer patients into breast cancer survivors.
Over the next 25 years, an estimated 25 million women around the world will be diagnosed with breast cancer if we don't find a cure. Komen will not stop until we discover and deliver the cures. That's our promise.
We Will Find the Cure!
